Everyone says yes
Buddie posts what it does and every person replies YES, or YES NO MEMORY to take part without Buddie saving details about them. Until all of you agree, Buddie stays silent, and messages are not stored, sent to Anthropic, classified, or used for memory.

Questions before Buddie joins

No. Buddie is built around group conversation, shared memory and personality. The goal is to feel like a real member of the chat, not a support widget waiting for commands.
Yes. Buddie lives on iMessage, so every person in the group chat has to be on iMessage. A group cannot start until everyone in it is.
Yes. There are six: Classic, Good, Chaos, Lovable, Planner and Bad Buddie. An admin can switch at any time, and the change applies to the whole group.
Bad Buddie is 18+ and requires a group admin to confirm they are 18 or older and accept the mode-specific terms. Switching away disables it. Re-enabling it requires a fresh admin confirmation every time.
Buddie keeps group messages and saved memories for a limited time so it can follow the conversation, and deletes them automatically after that. Any member can text FORGET at any time to delete the memories saved about them. The exact retention periods are in our Privacy Policy.
Two separate things, and you probably want both. Removing Buddie from the iMessage conversation stops it taking part, but it does not delete anything. To delete the group's messages and everything Buddie remembered, open the dashboard, find the yard and choose Delete this yard. Each member can also text FORGET at any time to delete the memories saved about them.
Top Dog includes custom personality creation, plus access for up to five groups and 1,000 messages per month.
